CENOTE DIVING
Millions of years ago the Yucatan Peninsula was covered by the sea. Today there is an incredible clear fresh- water underground river system of caverns and caves. The Mayans knew these mysterious and magic places as CENOTES. At one time, Cenotes were the only source of fresh water for the Mayans; they were considered a gift of GOD CHAK, their God of water.
Let us take you into the wonderful hidden world of the Cenotes!
Experience a dive of your life, flying slowly through caverns full of crystal clear water, stalagmites and stalagmites.Cavern dive which means that the dive stays within the limit of the day light and that there is always a close exit to the surface at any moment.
WHAT COULD BE SEEN: Walk to the Maya jungle and get into the dry caves full of stalactites and stalagmites, Dive in 2 different Cenotes in the crystal clear water of this underwater rivers.
WHO CAN DIVE THE CENOTES: Any open water diver. We recommend an ocean dive with us prior to the cenote. .
WHAT IS INCLUDED: Transportation, entrance fee, snorkeling gear (mask, snorkel, and fins), life jacket, wet suit, and introduction to the Cenotes, lunch, soft drinks and water.
Snorkelers are welcome to come along, the trip will takes about 6 hours.
PLEASE BRING: bathing suit, beach towel, walking shoes, sandals or diving shoes, hat, biodegradable sun protection or sun block, Mosquito repellent, sunglasses, camera, T-shirt and shorts
